QCEIDAH is led by Psychiatrist and Director Dr Cathy Franklin, a world recognised expert in intellectual and developmental disability healthcare. She is also the Director of the Queensland Centre for Intellectual and Developmental Disability, Mater Research Institute-University of Queensland.

Clinical team
Dr Franklin is supported by a clinical team including psychiatrists, psychiatry registrars, nurses, and psychologists, as well as a general practitioner, visiting rehabilitation medicine physician, occupational therapist, speech pathologist and social worker.
Research team
Research Lead Dr Katie Brooker champions inclusive intellectual and developmental disability health research with group members—including two research assistants with lived experience in intellectual disability—and student researchers.
